MyHeritage Raised $15 Million VC Funding — Israel-based company that combines social networking with family trees, has raised $15 million in new VC funding. Index Ventures was joined by return backer Accel Partners.

Miniweb Raised $32 Million VC Funding— UK-based provider of Web-style advertising and interactivity on TV, has raised $32 million in new VC funding. Meritage Funds and DeGeorge Holdings III co-led the round.

Online Sports Ad Network Sportgenic Gets $10 Million Second Round Funding — Sportgenic, the San Francisco-based online ad networked focused on sports sites, has received $10 million in its second round of funding. The round was led by Adams Street Partners, and previous investors Alsop Louie Partners, KPG Ventures, and Greycroft Partners also invested in the new round.

Leapfrog Online Raised $30 Million Minority Equity Funding — Chicago-based digital direct marketing company, has raised $30 million in minority equity funding from North Bridge Growth Equity.

Carbonite Raised $32 Million In Series C — Boston-based provider of online backup services for consumers and small businesses, has raised $20 million in Series C funding. Performance Equity led the round, and was joined by return backers Menlo Ventures, 3i and Common Angels Fund.

Big Fish Games Raised $83.3 Million Second Round Funding — Seattle-based online gaming and interactive entertainment portal, has raised $83.3 million in second-round funding. Backers include Balderton Capital, General Catalyst Partners and Salmon River Capital. It had previously raised around $8 million in angel funding.
